Try wild water swimming, fly fishing, or kayaking, in the deep spring water lake. You and pets will be welcomed by somene in wellies with a strong Welsh accent and smile. “Bwthyn Gwyn” / “White Cottage”

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Recently completely refurbished to a very high standard Bwthyn Gwyn is one of Bala’s oldest cottages. We are dog friendly, with a large purpose built / fully enclosed back garden it’s perfect to bring along furry friends. Very cosy and warm with a log burner, an ideal place to curl up with a cuppa or a glass of wine after a walk in the mountains or around the quaint town of Bala. Ty Beic Country Apartments, The Barn

Ty Beic is two, one bedroom holiday cottages perched on a hill above the tiny hamlet of Sarnau, near Bala, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. These two restored stone barns are a magical place to stay all year round providing a perfect base for exploring North Wales. The Byre - secluded retreat with incredible views

Originally built in the mid 1600’s, The Byre was converted from a cow shed to a dwelling in the mid 1980’s. It has recently undergone a full refurbishment to bring it up to date. We are surrounded by 15,000 acres of forests, perfect for walking and cycling. A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome and we ask that dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings or on the beds. Please make sure that you check your dogs in when making your reservation as a fee of £20 is applicable.
