Perched at an elevation of 2250 meters amidst the lush greenery, Raithal village is popular among seasoned trekkers as it's the base camp to Dayara Bugyal. It is a wooden house, located at an altitude of 2,300 mtr in the Mid Himalayas region of gangotri valley. Our homestay is just 6 km away from Gangnani(gangotri highway). Our village, Bhangeli village is a small Hamlet of 40-45 peaceful Shepard families who are very hardworking and mostly engaged in farming and working as a guide in treks. Our home offers a panoramic view of the entire Harsil Valley and the Bhagirathi river. Harsil is 25 km (1 hour) before 'Gangotri', making it the perfect layover spot before you begin your religious pilgrimage to the Gangotri temple. Our homestay is 2 km from Bhagori, a Tibetan colony.
