Our cabin is located 12 miles out of Franklin, NC near the Little Tennessee River. We are in easy traveling distance to whitewater rafting, kayaking both flat water and whitewater, fly fishing rivers, gem mining, zip lining, horseback riding, Deep Creek tubing, river tubing , The Appalachian Trail, hiking trails, waterfalls, Smoky Mountain Train excursions, Cherokee attractions/casino, Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Elk viewings and Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

This idyllic cabin, conveniently located on over 4 wooded acres, is well-appointed despite its cozy 400 sq ft interior size. This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

We also provide an outdoor grill, large porch, and lots of outdoor seating that will provide the best ways to enjoy nature.The cabin is relatively close to two tiny houses but still offers a sense of privacy.

The living room has 2 comfortable couches and the kitchen includes all modern amenities except a dishwasher. All linens and towels are provided, and there is a washer and dryer.
