Its located on the Wild Atlantic Way only 20 minutes drive from the famous Slieve League Sea Cliffs . Killybegs fishing port with its hotels, pubs and restaurants is located just 3kms away. Part of a small group of exclusive holiday homes, located behind the sand dunes, with the beach just a short short stroll beyond. An idyllic setting with simply breathtaking scenary all around.

Close to Glencolmcille beach and the folk village. The Slieve League cliffs and the silver strand beach are a 15 minute drive away. We have an EV charger.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.

The apartment is attached to my home. It is situated on a hill overlooking the sea and valley below. Guests enjoy the amazing view and the peace and tranquility of the countryside. It has its own private entrance and ample parking. Weather permitting guests can sit outside and read, listen to the birds, enjoy the neighbours sheep, or take a peaceful walk.
