Located within the gardens of the main house and accessible down a farm track, the cottage is surrounded by the stunning Perthshire Hills. It is in a perfectly central location for exploring Scotland - 15 mins from Perth and an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews, 2 miles from Auchterarder and only 4 miles from the world famous Gleneagles Hotel. Sheardrum is the best of both worlds; surrounded by rolling farmland and hills it is quiet and peaceful, seems remote but is less than an hour away from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Perth. We have 25 acres of wildlife-friendly land, new woodland and riverside - lots of places to explore. Views of the Ochil Hills and countryside are fabulous. Children and well-behaved pets are welcome.

Our beautiful studio with spacious Hot Tub is close to Edinburgh Airport and only 5 miles from the West End. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Guests staying without own transport are likely best to rely on local taxi services of which there are several including UBER. Plenty countryside walking available also.
