Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

This house is ideal for families, mountain walkers, cycling, fishing enthusiasts, golfers and surfers. Falcarragh is a Gaeltacht (Gaelic speaking) town. There are a number of lively pubs where guests can enjoy a great pint of Guinness, good food, live music and a friendly welcome.

There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is very limited depending on your network.
