Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Groot Letaba river and wake up to bird calls from our resident Green Turaco. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. A few feet from the cabin, you will have your own private deck with braai facilities. Enjoy!

Ce logement bénéficie, de la wifi, d'une TV connectée, une cafetière nespresso (café offert à l'arrivée), d'un ventilateur même si a cette altitude (700 mètres) vous n'aurez nullement besoin de son utilisation, d'un petit chauffage d'appoint (les nuits peuvent être particulièrement fraîches en hiver, de mars à octobre). wild Syringa offers self-catering accommodation sleeping 2 guests in 1 bedroom. There are two bedrooms, a lounge/dining area/kitchen area. The lounge has a fireplace. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, fridge and stove. There is a braai facility \. It has a fenced area' The cottage is off grid supplying solar power. Therefor only laptops and cell phones may be charged. No other appliances may be used.
