A five minute drive to downtown Newport, and a few minutes walk to Sachuest Beach, this above-garage guesthouse is detached from the main residence with its own private entrance. There is a large living area and a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The living room sofa converts to a bed, so the property is ideal for 2 people, however, the sleep sofa can accommodate 2 more. There is no extra charge for children under the age of 18. We are dog friendly. There's a $25 charge for a second dog.

This is a 1,400 sq ft private in-law apartment with your own locked entrance completely separate from the house. The 1st floor has two bedrooms with new queen beds and a full bath. The 2nd floor has a full kitchen, pull out couch, full bath and room for an inflatable bed. Child and dog friendly with pack n play and water bowls on hand. This apartment has everything you'll need for a peaceful stay. Enjoy complete privacy in the apartment, hang out on the shared screen porch or deck, or luxuriate in a hot outdoor shower. The space is equipped for long stays, with a dedicated work space, full kitchen, washer, dryer, and storage space. Walk to the bike path or URI campus (we are 1.4 miles from the center of campus). The drive to Newport is a rather scenic 10 minute drive over the bridge. You may be tempted to stay in, as the open floor plan and thoughtful decorating make for a pleasant accommodation. The apartment includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchenette with a stove top (no oven), microwave, and mini-fridge.
