"Away with the Birds" is a unique and creative retreat set within 1/2 an acre of rambling and magical gardens. Your room is a private self contained Bungalow on the property called "The Nest". Cradled in the foothills of Mt Donna Buang and a short stroll from shops & restaurants the property also has a lovely working pottery studio where your host, an accomplished potter & art therapist weaves her magic. With breathtaking views overlooking Mount Victoria, this 1950s home has been lovingly restored and modernised into an open plan, bright space. Only a few minutes walk to the Main Street of Warburton, you can stroll into town or just sit on the large deck and listen to the many birds in the surrounding trees. An open kitchen with German appliances, a wood heater for cozy nights and a king bed for watching the many cloud formations that drift by makes this getaway so memorable.
