This unique nature-focused abode, has a relaxed feel, close to Byron town (only 13kms) but far enough away, for a change of pace & a breather in an abundance of beautiful nature. It includes a large deep bath, big enough for 2 (under cover) on a deck with a beautiful nature view & a relaxing semi-outdoor living area. This is more than a regular Airbnb stay - this is a glamping experience (with heated tents and campfires in winter) Nestled in the stunning Adelaide Hills, a few min drive from the famous German village of Hahndorf, it's all about glamour and romance with stunning views of the landscape. Weather permitting we offer an outdoor star gazing bed, and a table to watch the sunset. Our beautiful bell tent is the perfect base to visit, Adelaide, the fabulous Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale wineries.

These tents sleep 2 adults only. Sorry, no pets or children are allowed in these ultra-luxurious glamping tents. With a large king-size bed and inviting doona, sofa, cosy reading lamps, dining table for two, and a crackling log fire in the main room, you will adore the subdued lighting and romantic atmosphere. Leather straps allow the walls to be completely opened up or closed down as you prefer. The spacious ensuite bathroom has a vanity, bathtub for two, a shower and of course toilet.

Our 1959 vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum of one night stay for a quick getaway or to stay longer & enjoy the peace, light the fire pit, which is under cover, ideal if it's raining (made from a beer keg), and roast marshmallows.

Nambucca Valley Train Carriages Red carriage

Both our red & green carriages are modeled from the balcony ended tram car Built by Great Eastern Railways, England in 1884. The tram car was built for the Wisebec to Upwell line. Diane & I have built this unique accommodation from the ground up overlooking the NSW North Coast Railway line. The two carriages are located 90 metres from our house & sited to provide you with your own privacy.
