Cozy Farmstead Cottage Getaway

The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Duncan Creek House

Contact me if you’d like a longer term stay and I’ll open up more dates in January, February,March & April. This is a cozy house located on Duncan Creek where you’ll hear the lovely sound of rushing water and will likely spot some eagles. It is located within walking distance of Leinie’s Lodge, Irvine Park, Olson’s Ice Cream Parlor and local hiking/bike trails. Dogs are welcome. The cancellation policy is set as “Strict”, but I’ll give full refunds if you cancel at least 14 days in advance.

Cozy cabin on Elk Lake

This cozy cabin, perched above a quiet, beautiful lake, with views of soaring pine trees and wildlife is a great place for relaxing next to the warm fireplace, or taking a dip in the cool water. If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking nearby trails, or enjoying a game, or a laugh with family and friends around the fire pit. The cabin sits about 80 steps (a challenge for some) above Elk Lake. Elk lake is a no wake lake that is great for fishing, kayaking (we have two), and swimming.

Lil’ Kickback on Elk Creek (Eau Claire area)

Remote, tranquil, quiet and private getaway on 5.8 acres on the banks of the Elk Creek; only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities! This creek is known as a class 1 trout stream. Guests can enjoy fishing, sight seeing, canoeing and kayaking the Chippewa River or Elk Lake, biking, hiking, atv/utv and snowmobile trails nearby as well. Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. This is a beautiful rustic cabin that has been beautifully restored. Permit issued and inspected by Dunn County.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Moon Bay Getaway: 2BR on Lake Wissota with Hot Tub

Come stay on a calm and quiet section of the lake. This newly renovated home on Lake Wissota makes for the perfect lake getaway any time of year. Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home comes with a full kitchen, a deck overlooking the lake, private dock, fire pit, 2 queen beds, a hot tub, and a 4 season room. You'll love this place because of the spectacular views, horses, wildlife, fishing, hiking and hot tub for relaxing, a romantic getaway or simply just girl time. This spot is perfect for couples or solo adventurers! A unique suite is attached to an elegant vintage peg barn. Space for bringing horses, snowmobiles or ATV's since we have trails. A mile away from snowmobile trails and 25 mins from a State Park. Also, perfect for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Fire pit available.

Beautiful, beautiful cabin. Nested in the middle of the Porcupine Valley, this cabin is a place for you to find rest and relaxation. Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds is probably the best part of the cabin. Attractive flower beds, large yard, spacious interior, pond, and creek. Back porch, front porch, and upper balcony. Great for a family getaway or a low-key long weekend away from the city.
