The End is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The End is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps TWO ADULTS and TWO CHILDREN. It has a large shared garden, unique kitchen and lounge, bathroom and ONE large bedroom (a King and two single sofa beds). The End is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. Our cottage is a converted lakeland barn in the village of Pardshaw, near Cockermouth. Ideal for couples, walkers, cyclists, or families as a base for exploring the stunning Western Lake District. Loweswater is a ten minute drive away and Crummock, Buttermere , Keswick and the coast are all within half an hour. It's very cosy in the winter with comfy leather sofas and a woodburning stove, and there's a large 1st floor deck for Al Fresco dining in the summer.
