A small riad located in the medina of Essaouira combines traditional Moroccan charm with an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The roof terrace is the real jewel of the riad. It overlooks the rooftops of the medina and from a distance, you can hear the sound of the ocean waves. The terrace is furnished with masonry seats covered with colorful cushions, plants in terracotta pots, and a small dining area for enjoying al fresco meals.

We came up with the idea to renovate our family apartment to share the Moroccan way of life with travellers from around the world. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Old Medina, this home offers a unique opportunity to experience life in a local Essaouirian neighbourhood.
