This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

With all of Mad River Valley attractions nearby, the cottage is perfect for year-round enjoyment, whether you wish to cool off in the brook, roast marshmallows at the fire pit after hiking, admire the fall foliage, or unwind after skiing!

SUMMER SATURDAY-SATURDAY 7 NIGHT STAY REQUIRED - Private 40-acre retreat directly surrounded by the 23,100-acre Giant Mountain Wilderness Preserve. A babbling brook runs behind the cabin; the Owl's Head Lookout trailhead is steps away, with the High Peaks further down the path. Gather at the fire pit each night, wake to the sound of a mountain stream. Fully stocked: wood stove, screened porch, firewood, games, library, full kitchen. Guests call it "food for the soul." The Beebe Farm was started in 1921 by Fred and Pearl Beebe. There are now four generations of Beebe's who have farmed this land. Over time these spectacular views have been created by hard work and devotion to agriculture.
