Custom built Rustic Cabin in the Flint Hills of Kansas near Howard, KS. We have an abundance of deer and turkeys. THERE IS LOTS OF WALK IN HUNTING AND FISHING. Our little Poke Daniels Lake has some of the best fishing. We are 45 minutes from El Dorado lake. There are many sites close to us. We are 45 minutes from the big Bluegrass Festival in Winfield KS. It is held in September for 3-4 days. Howard has many specialty shops and some of the best eating places you can find in these parts.

The Owl's Nest Cabin at Still Waters Edge Retreat

The Owl's Nest is a 12x32 cabin that has a queen bed in a small loft and a queen bed on the main floor. Kitchenette and full bath on the main floor. We are located in a rural setting with a 5 acre lake and a 1 acre pond with a beach area. Relax and enjoy the outdoors and swim in the pond or boat on the lake. In the winter you can take a walk or sit and enjoy the scenery or take a dip in the hot tub.

This bunkhouse is perfect for being close to town but experiencing the country life. This sits close and on the same property to the Lodge of South Owl, our other Airbnb, which are both down a dead-end road. Pets are welcome but with a $25 pet fee.
