Old Farm is a traditional stone-built Somerset farm house, built in the 1580's, set in a quiet village, less than 5 minutes' walk to the village pub. 10 miles to Bath & West Show Ground and 8 miles to Wells Which? described Wells as a “compact but perfectly formed gem.” We are also within 3-4 miles of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a great area for walks, cycling and traditional pubs. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. A farm shop is 5 minute drive away and a local chinese takeaway within walking distance. There is a hourly bus that will take you directly to Bristol city centre or Wells.

The Engine House will suit couples looking for a romantic hideaway. Snuggle up for a cosy evening with a log fire. Unfortunately The Engine House is not suitable for small children.
