Please don’t try to sneak in your dogs, without telling us. We have new protocols in place to help keep everyone safe. You can be at Pudding Creek Beach in 5 minutes, at Glass Beach and the Skunk Train in 7 minutes, at the world-famous Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens 12 minutes, and in the historic downtown of Mendocino Village in 20 minutes.

From the studio, walk to 2 different beaches, or 5 minute drive to Mendocino. Dogs allowed with registration and pet fee.

Well-stocked home is quiet and secluded, but still close enough to quickly be in Fort Bragg or Mendocino.

Little River Retreat

Let yourself unwind in the gorgeous coastal lands of Mendocino as you're tucked away in a spacious loft apartment made for relaxation. We’ve designed a large studio space with fluffy linens, handmade textiles, and natural touches to delight you. Walking distance to the beach, sunset views, a restaurant and store--it's a perfectly-situated restful nook on the coast. If you love a clawfoot tub, this place is for you (there is a comically-short shower intended only as a backup).

The Photographer's Studio

The studio is a sun-filled, very spacious private room with en suite bathroom, and South facing deck, located in a separate building behind the main house in a large flower & fruit tree filled yard. The yard is often shared with Felix our playful tuxedo cat and Blossom our McNab Shepherd. We also rent "Osprey Aerie", the apartment upstairs, featuring a full kitchen, washing machine and dryer.
