The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Relax in a quiet, curated, pet-friendly art exhibit. Live with paintings & sculptures that are for sale. This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy downtown Chambersburg in this biophilic, sustainable loft, central to local shops, restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. The building that houses the loft was erected in the 1890s, giving the space charm unique to the era. Wander down Main St get a feel for our quaint downtown. There is a rail to trail within one block of the space for exercising and biking. Chambersburg is a thirty minute drive to Gettysburg, and less than two hours from Baltimore and Washington DC.

The Little White House

Relax on the farm with a peaceful view and rural atmosphere, with the convenience of being close to local attractions. Located close to I81, it’s a favorable location but private setting. Within 10-20 minutes of Chambersburg restaurants, shopping, hospital and activities. Also about a 30 minute drive to historic Gettysburg, PA! The farm is active with 2 cows and 3 (way too friendly) cats. We are a small family wanting to share out beautiful piece of land with all who visit!

The Resting Place

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. This little haven is close to a great fishing spot at Meadow Grounds State Park lake. Hiking at Cowens Gap State Park. And Buchanan's Birthplace State Park not far away. You can relax as you watch the sunset for one of the two overlooks on neighboring mountains. Come and enjoy it for yourself!

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle-boats, picnicking, hiking and more are available at the Park. We are also just 6 miles from the Goldfish Barn Event Center and 18 miles from Whitetail Ski Resort
