The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

The bungalow is minutes away from the town centre on foot with easy access to the Royal Welsh Showground. With tasteful decoration and plentiful amenities the property really does feel like home from home. It's the ideal base for enjoying nearby beauty spots (being roughly half way between the Brecon Beacons National Park & the Elan Valley). A maximum of 2 small dogs would be very welcome.

You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Carnau Bach sits on the main road, the A44 towards Aberystwyth but is situated in a rural area surrounded by stunning hills including Llandegley Rocks and Great Rhos (Highest peak in Radnorshire) A great base for exploring Mid-Wales and North Herefordshire. The house is a stunning oak-framed farmhouse style stone cottage. Complementing the owners’ 17th century farmhouse next door, it boasts oak framing throughout, complemented by modern décor. Sleeps 4 (1 x double, 1 x twin).

Please note that the access to the house is via a fairly steep and narrow lane (last section is a track with loose gravel), not suitable for HGVs. We now provide super fast internet!!

Our eco house is a relaxed and comfortable place to stay in the beautiful & unspoilt Welsh Borders. We have a large garden growing most of our fruit & vegetables, our own chickens and provide free cider while stocks last. Please understand that we are a traditional bed and breakfast establishment. I know that the listing states that a whole flat or house is available, it is not. Unfortunately AirB&B insist that we put this otherwise it on will only list one bedroom.

Irfon Cottage, Penrheol Farm

Irfon cottage sleeps two guests with its cosy open plan layout. The bedroom has a super king bed which can also be arranged as twin beds by request. The bathroom has a shower. The fitted kitchen is well equipped with the living area comfortably furnished. You are welcome to bring up to one dog please include this on booking, we ask that pets are not allowed in the bedroom and if they do go on the sofa, blankets are provided. There is an EV charger.

Saddleback Bungalow, Ddole Farm

Set in amongst the Mid Wales Hills, this delightful, warm and comfortable Bungalow sits beneath a hill tucked out of the way but has easy access to the road. Saddleback Bungalow is on the grounds of a working farm and is surrounded with the most stunning walks either straight from the front door or a short drive away, then on your return why not cuddle up in front of the log burner.

Ty-Nesa, a holiday cottage near Hay-on-Wye

Ty-Nesa means ‘the next house’ in Welsh. It is a small cottage, approximately 200 years old, located in the hills four miles from Hay-on-Wye. It has stunning views of the Black Mountains and across Herefordshire, with the Malvern Hills visible in the distance on a clear day. The cottage provides the perfect base for exploring Hay-on-Wye and the surrounding area.
