Summer and fall are great times to pick apples, blackberries and other fruit. For wine lovers, there are six wineries in our area offering tastings, music and great food. Many of these locations are with 10-15 minutes of the cabin. Local breweries offer craft beer and live music. The shared fire pit is available to enjoy your favorite beverage.

The Settlers cabin is located 21 miles from Asheville and 12 miles from Chimney Rock State Park. It is located on 9 acres of private property with Mountain View’s all around. A very private setting with a .5 mile concrete paved driveway, one lane. A great way to get your morning or evening walk in. Apple orchards and nature all around. Wifi Hi speed 370+ &Jacuzzi tub. The bedroom is located in the loft a common area with a queen size and a full size bed both accessible from the stairs.

The living room has a flat-screen Roku TV with Netflix, Sling and other streaming apps already installed. Experience historic Appalachia at Stonewood cabin. Built in 1880, this authentic log cabin has been beautifully renovated in 2019 and is ready for your enjoyment. This cabin is set on 2.5 serene acres, offering a true Appalachian experience while providing all the modern comforts of today. There is another building on the 2.5 acre property that I (the owner) live in. Your privacy during your stay is very important to me and you will have access to the entire property during your stay.
