Wainui Beachfront Home is located on Moana Road right across from the beach. It is a 10min Drive from the City and only 1km away from the Okitu Store. The House has three bedrooms (2 King Beds & 1 Double Bed), One Bathroom and 2 Toilets. The Kitchen/Dining/Living area is open plan and offers a lot of space. Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

THE BOARDROOM CHALET

The Boardroom chalet its a bright and modern 2 bedrrom unit amongst a beautiful garden. Wake up to the sound of the tuis playing in the trees! A short 5 min walk to the famous Stock route beach break at Wainui Beach, you'll also pass Zepher store on the way perfect for coffee and takeaways. There is plenty of room to roam around if you have kids and also a trampoline and tree house. The chalet is also set behind The Boardroom surf shop where LOST surfboards are produced.

Pōhatu Studio, A retreat by the River

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Tokomaru Beach

Our place is built behind an historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach and 100 metres walk to Pakirikiri Marae.The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
