Neptunes's Rest

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space Neptune's Rest, nestled in the serene village of Caol in Fort William. Only a stone's throw away from the Great Glen Way. From here explore Neptune's Staircase, a flight of 8 locks on the Caledonian Canal. A five minute walk can catch a view of the iconic "Harry Potter" steam train as it passes through Banavie station on its way to Glenfinnan, one of the world's most scenic rail journeys. Your Scottish retreat awaits you here at Neptune's Rest.

Good phone reception for most providers but no wi-fi or TV, just DVDs but who needs a screen when you can just sit and watch the ever changing weather sweep across the glen.

Ideally situated for exploring the stunning scenery of Glencoe, Fort William:-the UK's outdoor capital or the small harbour town of Oban the seafood capital of Scotland and gateway to the Hebridean Islands. Located midway between Nevis range and Glencoe mountain the Dragons Den is an ideal base for year round outdoor pursuits including skiing, mountain biking ,swimming and ⛳.

Tigh Anteach

Cozy cabin for 2 people only. Sofa bed available on request Far enough up the hill to enjoy the quiet but close enough to the town for the bars and restaurants. The Cow Hill circuit is close to the cabin. Ben Nevis is a 10 min car journey. Glenfinnan viaduct is 14 miles away. It is a 20/30 min walk down into the town. We are on the main local bus route. N46 or N47 bus will get you to our door from the High Street. In good weather you can sit out on the decking and watch the world go by.
