Great pubs, walks, the Downs, Glyndebourne, Charleston, Firle, Farley Farm all approx. 10 mins. Designed as a creative workspace, there's no TV but good WiFi: no streetlights, lots of stars.

Caburn Cabin is in Firle Village in the South Downs national park. Our spacious timber cabin sleeps up to four people. It has a warm rustic charm whilst being fully equipped with modern facilities. There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

Heavenly Waterside Sussex Barn

Tack Barn is our super stylish and sustainable holiday cottage here at Upper Lodge near Lewes - a very special place to stay. Tucked into a private woodland overlooking the pond and countryside, we've kitted it out with products and art from local makers. Ideally located for Lewes, the iconic Seven Sisters Cliffs and South Downs. Hop into the hammock and sit by a glowing fire-pit in the summer, or snuggle up in front of the wood-burner in the winter - the Tack Barn is special all year round.

Kenningham

This is a detached converted garage with a bedroom and a shower room in a lovely part of town. 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lewes, 15 minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes walk from the South Downs. There is a private entrance around the side of the main house, with a key safe box by the door. It’s not appropriate for people with mobility issues however, as there is a step to enter. Guests can use the offstreet parking in front of the house (between the street and gate).

Situated in garden of our house, on a quiet back road (plenty of free parking) in rural East Sussex. Ideal location for visiting Glyndebourne, Lewes, Brighton, South Downs, Charleston & Monks House, Seven Sisters/south coast .Pub food within 5 mins walk, also buses to Brighton, Lewes, Tunbridge Wells and more.

The Garden Room

The annex is a detached building with a key safe and separate entrance situated in a very quiet part of the historic county town of Lewes. There is very little passing traffic and as we’re on the outskirts it’s about a 20 mins walk to the centre of the town but are very close to the South Downs, a 5 minute walk away and the gateway to the South Down way and the National Park. (Smoking only allowed outside) Close to Brighton and good access to public transport and a main line to London.

Snuggle up by the log burner whilst looking out at our peaceful lake, surrounded by ancient woodland. A private couples’ retreat for relaxing, unwinding, and sharing magical moments in nature. If you can pull yourselves away from your woodland hideaway, the lovely village of East Hoathly isn’t far, with a cozy café, village shop, and friendly local pub to explore.

‘The Water Snug’ Floating Lake Cabin

Escape the Christmas chaos and unwind in the cozy comfort of our houseboat, festively decorated in December. A romantic retreat for two floating on our peaceful one-acre lake in East Hoathly. Relax by the cosy log burner, cook in the fully fitted kitchen, and wake in a lake-view bedroom where nature’s magic surrounds you. Step outside to gentle ripples and wildlife, or visit East Hoathly with its village pub, café, and shop just minutes away when you can pull yourselves away.

The Stables Lewes

The Stables is a charming two bedroom cottage in walking distance of historic Lewes and a handy pub. It's two double bedrooms are both ensuite and one can be changed to provide twin beds. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven, dishwasher and washer dryer. The Stables has a private patio and across the lane, the South Downs stretches to Glyndebourne. We always provide refreshments for your arrival, and can add a breakfast hamper for an extra charge.
