Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

The pool is private to our guests and usually open after Memorial Day. About 50 mins to ski areas. The Cottage easily accommodates 2 couples in two bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Welcome to Camp Earnest, a 21 acre former summer camp tucked into the Sierras in northern California, about 140 miles east of SF. You'll be staying in one of our brand new cozy yurts tucked into the trees and the hillside. Camp Earnest sits in a ponderosa, cedar and manzanita forest, with light snow in the winter and mild summers. We have a year round creek and hikes right off our property. Nearby are Dodge Ridge Ski Area, Pinecrest Lake, Calaveras Big Trees SP & Yosemite NP.
