A short walk to the Marina Hotel and shops, and 5 minute-drive to 90-Mile Beach. We welcome furry friends, but kindly request they remain outdoors.

Lovingly curated over two decades this is a fun, cosy and chilled beachy escape. And the best bit? The endless sands of the 90 Mile Beach are just out the gate and an easy amble over the dune. Located on the silt jetties, the property ends with a sandy beach at Eagle Bay in Lake King. Wake to an abundance of bird life... Pelicans and swans by the water, wrens, rosellas and cockatoos in the bushes. You might see dolphins in the lake, or in the river behind us. We are on the magnificent Gippsland Lakes in the heart of the Victorian Riviera. It is true we get more sun than Mildura! When its raining and bleak in Melbourne, close your eyes and picture winter sun at Eagle Point.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the ocean, our newly renovated retreat offers the perfect blend of views, comfort and coastal charm. Offering the master bedroom and two bathrooms, see and hear the waves breaking onto the sand! Peaceful, spacious, beautifully decorated with an enclosed yard to ensure your fury friend has a secure place to play. Take one of two paths directly from the front gate to the beach, and only 600 meters walk to the The Lake Tyers Beach Tavern & General Store.

Swan Cove Garden on Beach

Please note the vehicular ferry is out for maintenance from Nov 10 til Dec 7. During this time we can collect you from the passenger ferry. Wide open spaces, fresh sea air and no crowds. Transport yourself to a 2- storey Hansel and Gretel style cottage in a forest by the water on an island where you can see koalas and wildlife up close in their natural environment. Only 4 hours from Melbourne. We are very sorry pets are not permitted here due to the sensitive nature of the wildlife.
