This Guest house is a Fantastic Place to rest and relax. Set on 10 beautiful acres overlooking pastures with Cows, Horses, and Chickens. We have an isolated feel but are just minutes from Hwy 11 and Interstate 20. The guest house has its own private deck with fantastic pastoral views. There is also a shared porch that has an outdoor fireplace, perfect for enjoying some fresh air on cool nights. The main room has a King size bed. Welcome to our warm and inviting historic farm home. Enjoy a quaint and cozy stay with easy access to Athens, UGA, Madison, Monroe, and Watkinsville. You will enjoy the entire second floor. The space offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a third room with a double bed that can be used as a bedroom or common room, and a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub and shower. There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

The Portico cabin, built in the 1870's, is cozy, rustic and carefully preserved. It is ideal for a couples getaway, small family staycation or solo retreat to escape everyday life and connect with nature. Relax on the porch rockers or cozy up by the wood stove, surrounded by books. Enjoy the cabin and surrounding 60 acres, featuring walking trails, fishing pond, a large fire pit, river access with canoes, and historic church, The Portico. This light & airy studio is on our 2 acre lot separate and private from our house. In a safe neighborhood, 15-20 minutes to Athens, it has a cozy private back porch. We strive to be environmentally conscious- recycling, composting, solar Has queen bed, full bath, internet, TV w/ Roku stick, kitchen nook with sink, hotplate, microwave and small frig (no full stove or grill). Ceiling fans throughout, and quiet mini-split for heat & A/C . A wood stove is available for a $35 fee (notify host).

1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

Garden setting, newer construction, above garage apartment located in downtown Watkinsville. Take a morning walk down the sidewalk to local coffee shop and bakery, affordable or fancy dinner and lunch options available within two blocks. Our backyard is connected to a 6 acre wooded park. Oconee County is the "ArtLand of Georgia." We are centrally located for OCAF events, arts and crafts, and antiques, a bicycler's paradise. 10 minute drive to Athens/UGA, 40 minutes to Lake Oconee.

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.
