Welcome to Tabakea Holiday House. You're invited to bring your family (including fur-babies) and getaway for a few days to this quiet setting in Goolwa Beach. Centrally-located Tabakea is 3 min drive or 15-20 min walk to the beach, and about the same to the Wharf precinct in town. And the supermarket is only 5 min walk. Goolwa has lots to explore: beaches, the river including the unique Coorong as well as the historic township. In the region you can visit wineries, national parks & much more.

Riverside Retreat … with beautiful water view

Located at the calm waters of the riverfront you can watch the yacht racing, Oscar W paddle steamer pass by or casually walk along the shore to the cafes & the local activities. Comfortable furnishings throughout, the master bedroom has a postrepedic king sized bed & views of the water. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. There is also a small public jetty in front. Walk or ride anywhere! Maybe catch the train to Victor or cruise the river. Everything is a few hundred meters!

Includes lounges set up for comfort. Large rear deck and fully fenced back yard. We love to travel and have set up our beach house with all the things we think you need for a great break. A cute little (early 1900s) two bedroom cottage that is less than 10 minutes walk to everything Port Elliot has to offer - the Strand, the beach, bakery, 2 hotels and Lakala Reserve. Inverter air-conditioners keep the four main rooms cool in summer and warm in winter - or use the ceiling fans if you prefer! Little extras included - long-life milk, condiments including coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, oil & a range of spices. Warm throw rugs for the winter. A comfortable budget option.
