Gylly beach is a 10 mins walk away and there are waterside cafes, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep ...or relax in your own private courtyard garden.

Fast broadband, 43in smart TV (Netflix, Prime etc). EV charger and hot tub, both charged separately - pls request in advance. Hot tub: £15 first night, £5 each subsequent night.

Krowji means ‘cottage’ or ‘cabin’ in Cornish and is a timber-framed single-storey build next to our 300 year old cottage. A cosy, yet light and airy retreat for two, Krowji is located at the end of a private lane in Carlyon Bay, just a 20 minute walk from the bustling historic harbour of Charlestown. Krowji offers off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed outdoor courtyard with seating areas. * Please note, although at the end of a quiet lane, we are next to the main rail line.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

The Old Blockyard is ideally placed for access to the beach, St Agnes village and coast path walks. St Agnes is close to many cycle trails and is popular for road + mountain biking. A perfect place to stay to enjoy a day on the beach, walks on Bodmin Moor and the Camel Trail or to visit the nearby towns of Padstow, Port Isaac or Wadebridge with their award winning restaurants from Chefs including Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and Nathan Outlaw.
