The Property The cabin sits within walking distance of Fairy Lake and includes a fireplace, gas grill. The outside grounds include a picnic table, a patio with outdoor seating, an outdoor gas patio fireplace, a wood-burning fire pit, and a private hiking trail through an oak forest. Sleeping arrangements include a loft with two twin beds that can convert to a king (let us know before arrival), along with a queen sleeper sofa on the main level. Indoor amenities feature a 50” Roku TV, electric fireplace, air-conditioner, breakfast bar with seating, a welcome gift, and ceiling fan. The kitchen is stocked with cooking basics, a coffee maker, stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, filtered water, and full dishware and flatware. The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Stoney Ridge Treehouse

Our tree house is on 50 acres in central Minnesota, about two hours north of the twin cities. The tree house sits 18 feet off the ground on a ridge over looking Rock Lake. Its surrounded by our 50 acres and 500 acres of state land. The treehouse has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, a sitting area in both the loft and the main level. There is a wrap around porch on three sides and a deck out front, To access the tree house you will walk over a thirty foot covered bridge.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

This picturesque farm with a charming 3 bedroom cottage home will give you the best of what country living has to offer! The home has a true "Yellowstone" feel to it with its style and decor.
