Il borgo dista 2 kmq (in salita)da Marzabotto e circa 20 kmq da Bologna. Marzabotto è raggiungibile da Bologna con treno o bus. Ma per arrivare al borgo bisogna avere la macchina perché non ci sono mezzi pubblici che da Marzabotto portano a Luminasio.
