Forest Cozy Home

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

Redwood Studio is within easy walking distance to Guerneville's charming shops and restaurants. You’ll love the the serenity of the trees, sounds of the chickens, and the quiet friendly neighborhood. Eat breakfast at the base of an Old Growth Redwood. There is no stove in the small kitchenette, it has microwave, toaster oven, french press, kettle. Tucked amongst Redwoods and ivy on the hill, our forest getaway has a magical feel. Escape the hustle, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the upgraded home. Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet). It is located only 4 miles from Armstrong Redwoods, 15 miles to the gorgeous Sonoma coast and close to many wineries.
