Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Huset ligger på en lille grusvej et stenkast fra en privat strandtrappe og altid fantastiske solnedgange. Slap af på den hyggelige veranda eller den store træterrasse med loungemøbler. Nyd den store vilde have med bålplads, frugttræer, vilde bær, trampolin mm. eller besøg områdets utallige skønne natur-, kultur- og spisesteder.

Colourful house on a small island near CPH

Our lovely summerhouse from 1972 is perfect for silence & coziness and for active family living. We have a lovely livingroom with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a fully equipted kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything decorated with a colorful mix of the 1970s and modern living. During summertime you can use our terrasses, trampoline, bonfire etc in our big and private garden. If you are lucky you can watch deer ,squirrels, pheasants and sometimes even owls.
