Burnside Cottage is a Green Tourism Gold Award B&B situated on the north coast of Scotland. Just 1/2 a mile from the Pentland (Orkney) Ferry & 800m off the NC500. Ideal for John O'Groats and the Castle of Mey. We source our food locally where possible. We have an alcohol licence (licence no. Room Lock Lochy Named after one of the four lochs which make up the Caledonian Canal, the Loch Lochy room sleeps 2 people (king size bed) and offers an en-suite shower room as well as a free standing bath in the bedroom. This room also boasts an outside terrace with amazing views over the Fort Augustus and the River Oich. For an additional charge of £20 we are happy to welcome well behaved dogs with responsible owners. We'll even provide the dog bed.
