Dove Cottage.

Welcome to our cute converted stone outbuilding in a quiet part of the village which is a small village on the Woodhead Pass on the edge of Manchester and the Peak District. It is ideally situated for walkers enjoying the Pennine Way and Longdendale Trail. There are good road and public transport links to the village. Guests will have the privacy of the cottage but we are available in our family home opposite. Additional fees are added for early check in and check out. £5 charge for pets.

Modern 3 bedroom house, near Millbrook country park, Saddleworth and Dovestone. Stalybridge train station is a 5 minute drive away with easy links to Manchester. Rather than charge a flat rate for the house we charge per bedroom, this is to keep costs down for guests that don’t need all 4 beds. Beds are allocated depending on the number of guests you book. If you book for 1 or 2 guests you’ll get one bed. Book for 3 or 4 guests you’ll get 2 beds Book for 5 or 6 guests 3 beds & so on.

Accommodation is split level with a couple of steps separating the bedroom and living area from the fully equipped dining kitchen. From the cottage are some great hikes into the Peak District including the hike to the crash site of war plane B-29 and Mossey Lea. Conveniently close to Glossop train station with a direct line to Manchester City centre (28mins)
