This cabin opens up with vaulted ceilings, skylights to stargaze, large windows with amazing views, a fireplace with a warm ambiance in splendid isolation. Outside we have a huge wrap around deck w/ a hot tub. Let that mountain air filter out your stress, relax, rejuvenate and cuddle by the fire after a long day of play.

Step outside & you'll be greeted by the beautiful natural surroundings. Relax on the spacious deck & take in the views of the surrounding trees, valley & mountains.

Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

The Owlz Downlow

“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.

The Far Out - A Frame cabin in the woods

The Far Out is a classic A-frame cabin nestled in the beautiful woods of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains. This mountain retreat sits on an acre of land, complete with a 1200 sq ft wooden deck and semi-sunken hot tub. The interior décor is impeccably curated, blending vintage character with modern design for a distinctly cool cabin vibe. The cabin rests a pleasant 8 minute/3 mile drive away from downtown Idyllwild. The tactile rock formations visible from the main deck of the cabin are easily accessible from the main road, and only 2 minute walk from the cabin.
