It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Ideally situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and within easy reach of the Lakes. The cottage is full of character and in the perfect location for walkers, cyclists/motorcyclists, or those simply wishing to relax in a peaceful countryside setting. Guests have private use of the whole cottage, divorced front garden and patio, secure garage and parking area.

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Nestled in the countryside 0.5miles from the nearest pub there are plenty of fantastic eateries, open-air swimming pool, waterfalls walk, caves and the spectacular ribblehead viaduct

Apple tree cottage has recently been refurbished with modern interiors and super fast broadband. A self catering cottage with its own small garden and driveway, set in bucolic countryside. Able to accommodate 3 guests (3rd guest with an additional charge) with a unique 'reading nook' which can be made into a small single bed for a young child. Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.

The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
