A cosy hideaway in the hills

Unwind at this peaceful oasis in the hills of Argyll in the Trossachs national park. Our converted barn has a twin bedroom downstairs & double room on the open mezzanine above an open-plan living kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower, as well as a washing machine and a tumble drier. Access to the adjacent forestry road is via a car park 100m north along the roadside. This offers extensive walking routes, including to the Benmore Botanic Garden, Pucks Glen & The Coylet.

Located in the north Arran village of Lochranza, this house is an ideal jumping off place for hiking, visiting Arran’s attractions or for a day-trip to Kintyre. By day, enjoy watching the yachts come and go and catch sight of some of Arran’s wildlife. In the evening, cozy up in front an open fire after taking in one of Arran’s long sunsets. Five minutes drive to Blackwaterfoot where you'll find local shops, golf course, riding stables, swimming pool and sandy beach. Mill Barn is central to travelling anywhere on the Island. The main ferry port in Brodick is less than 20 minutes drive away. If you are bringing bikes there is a lockable shed in the garden for storage.
