It's ideal for quiet getaways with family and friends, reading or writing retreats, or exploring Central PA, and is a 30 minute drive from State College and Penn State University. It started as a place to let the horses catch a breath and a bite of grass and the riders a long gaze of the awesome view. Stream Side Getaway in Big Valley

Stream Side Getaway is located in the beautiful Big Valley along Stone Mountain. This house is on the side of a shop on the upper level. We are close to hiking, bike trails, Raystown Lake, Greenwood State park, and the local Wednesday flea market and livestock auction. There is a small tranquil creek as well as a fire pit and sitting area for you to enjoy. S'mores are a must. :) Our goal is a clean, relaxing atmosphere, and we're just across the lawn if you should need anything!

We are located about 30 minutes from State College and Penn State University. We are also only about 10 minutes from Greenwood Furnace. There are numerous country stores in the area for you to shop at. The cabin is also handicapped accessible.
