The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. Tiny home 100 steps to Rio Grande River

Great little TinyHome next to the Rio Grande. Comfortable for 1 but can sleep 2 in the Queen Bed in the sleeping loft. Ladder access only requires good mobility/dexterity. Great little workspace sports an Electric fireplace and warms you while you work remotely. If you look you may catch a glimpse of our resident roadrunners. Take a break and walk 17 acres along the rio grande or toss a line out and catch fresh trout for dinner. Kitchen is compact and functional w airfryer and stove top!

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.
