The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

This stylish, charming cottage is completely unique, with the old Redcastle ruin as a backdrop & views of the Beauly Firth. An idyllic stream runs through the garden, and the cottage features a wood-fired hot tub for relaxing evenings. Often compared to the famous cottage from the film The Holiday, it’s the perfect Highland retreat. Located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle, just 20 mins from Inverness Airport, it’s ideal for unwinding after exploring the coast, castles & countryside.

"The Wee House" Cosy studio with a double bed, shower room, kitchen/ lounge . It also has your own outdoor seating area. Set in a beautiful Glen, within walking distance of local amenities: including cafes and local shop . Local hotels also serve food in the evenings if you don't feel like cooking. The quite scenic side of Loch but half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus, so lots to see and do. Visit the Falls of Foyers and access the South Loch Ness Trail. Own transport advisable.

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. Added later, the adjacent 200 year old cottage has been beautifully renovated and sits in a peaceful location within a 2 acre garden surrounded by open countryside. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.
