Our cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with fun, thoughtful touches for your family including video game consoles, movies, books, a LOT of games, a pool/ping pong table, 2 fire pits, and more! Our A-Frame is a mid-century gem with everything you envision in a cabin, plus all the comforts of home. It features a private dock with access to the Fox River and the Chain of Lakes, as well as direct entry to the Silver Creek Conservation Area. Located between the Fox River and the northern end of the Silver Creek Conservation Area, it’s only 1:15 from Chicago and 1:30 from Milwaukee. The ideal spot for a couple’s retreat, a small family adventure, or a solo escape to reconnect with nature.

Cabin Getaway

Enjoy your stay at this private, cabin retreat equipped with EV charging station, spacious rooms for everyone. This home is not childproofed, please feel free to bring your own childproofing supplies. Cook meals on your own time in the full size kitchen, or enjoy the cozy wood burning stove in the living room or in the recreational space in the lower level with pool table and full size bar for your enjoyment. Pool is open during the Summer season. There is no isolation fence please supervise.

Whispering Pine is home to the original home that was built here in the 1940’s. The remodeled inside has two bedrooms. Our cabins have full kitchens, stocked with china, silverware, pots & pans. The backyard sits high on a bluff overlooking Pine Creek. There is private lawn furniture, a fire ring & grill outside. If you find yourself inside you can cuddle near the gas fireplace or watch tv. The cabin is also equipped with wifi. You are sure to leave Pine Creek feeling relaxed & refreshed.

The cabin has a view of the peaceful Rock River. Very relaxing & cozy. Minutes from Castle Rock State Park. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, & hiking trails. Reconnect with nature, play a board game, barbecue, watch the birds & engage in outdoor activities. Enjoy exploring the quaint small towns, antiquing, & local restaurants. Go from city life to country life, just “90” minutes from Chicago. This is a great place to relax & unwind. Due to location & your carrier you must be patient with our WiFi.
