Conkers Self-Contained Annexe near Avebury

Conkers is a spacious self-contained annexe within Chestnut House which has it's own private entrance and has recently been renovated to include a well equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom. Sleeping for two adults is provided in a king-sized bed separated from an open plan living area by a bookshelf screen. A separate bedroom with two single beds (truckle) can accomodate two children/teenagers. Conkers is in the Avebury World Heritage site and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Pigsty

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Bibury Hidden Dovecote (Grade II Listed)

We are delighted to reopen the dovecote after some essential improvements. We can now offer availability from this spring. A completely unique experience. This converted dovecote has a stunning bathroom, copper bath, wet room shower and beautiful double bedroom with terrace. Situated in a quiet but central location in Bibury with parking and breakfast. Perfect for a secret romantic break. Situated conveniently for Burford, Cirencester and Cheltenham, you can explore South Cotswolds.

A light and airy spacious Shepherds hut set in a beautiful English garden adjacent to a paddock. Great for a couple wanting to get away for a short break in the countryside and ideal for visiting Stonehenge 15 mins. by car, Bath 50mins. and Salisbury 25 mins. A good stop over point for cyclists on the King Alfred’s way route. The friendly village of Tilshead is located at the heart of Salisbury Plain. Excellent Italian food available at the Rose and Crown Pub 50 yards walk away.

Wrens House is a shepherds hut nestled in the Alham Valley, an area of re-wilding close to the fashionable towns of Bruton and Frome. We have an outdoor bath so what better way to cool down and relax. Included in your stay is our delicious breakfast. Want a place you can get back to nature? The Garden Annex has a well equipped kitchen/ dinner, spacious sitting room, double bedroom, bathroom with bath and overhead shower and full use the garden. It's also Ideally situated for exploring Avebury, Stonehenge, Marlborough, Bath or for simply enjoying the beautiful country walks and local pub the village has to offer.
