You can easily access to the Trans Canada Trail around the corner from the carriage house where you can hike, bike, ATV, cross-country ski; an outdoor enthusiast's dream!

Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Situated over looking the Kettle River in beautiful Christian Valley. While sitting and enjoying the evening sun on the deck you may see the elk, bear or deer in the meadow. They can been seen regularly. The Kettle River in known For great floating during July and August. Canoeing mid June to early July pending water levels. Fishing is catch and release. Access to great mountain trails, biking, ATV, horseback Riding(your own horses), hiking and hunting. Leave the wifi home.

Our earth dome house is welcome to all looking for a quiet and undisturbed rest from the hustle and grind of life.  This is a great home base for hunting, fishing, hiking, and more around Curlew and the Republic area. As you enter the property, you'll be greeted by a scenic trail leading to a hilltop with breathtaking views of Curlew Lake, the surrounding mountains, and the valley. Ample parking is available for your convenience.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Have a romantic getaway, book our sauna or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Our sweet little cabin was built with much love. It’s clean, cozy and has everything you need for few days of refuge from life’s busy buzz. Close to the river, golf, ski hill, hiking, KVR bike trail and many more adventures. Has fridge, bbq, one burner propane plate and induction toaster oven. Bathroom and queen bed in loft. All bedding and linens are available. Kids welcome as there is futon couch that folds into bed. Fire pit for when fires are allowed.
