SunPeople House: Private Pool & Large Garden

Welcome to our tropical oasis, only 800 meters walk to the beach. Our eco-friendly home sits on 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens and features a spacious veranda and private swimming pool. Our home is partially run on solar power and the gardens and swimming pool are fed with collected rainwater. Between dips in the pool and swims at the nearby beach, take a meditative walk among the 40+ coconut trees, tropical flowers, & endless plants. We hope SunPeople serves as a quiet and lovely retreat space.

Fig House

Nestled at the confluence of Takaungu Creek and the Indian Ocean, Fig House is a stunning retreat on the Kenyan coast. The property spans three acres of lush gardens and pristine ocean frontage. The house features a swimming pool, six en-suite bedrooms, a koi pond, a rooftop star-bath and beach access through a private tunnel (low tide only). Kasuku House sits on the edge of Watamu’s stunning Mida Creek, surrounded by tranquil mangroves and alive with birdsong. One of only a few houses on the creek, it offers incredible views of the legendary sunsets. I have travelled and lived all over the world, in many beautiful places, but there is nowhere that I would rather be than sitting on my amazing roof top looking over the mangroves towards Tsavo national park or relaxing by my wonderful pool. Beautiful, private home with AC& unlimited WIFI

Peaceful, comfortable, secure, fully staffed (including a chef) private house with pool, unlimited WiFi, air conditioning, back up power, 3 ensuite bedrooms, a large private garden and a beatiful shaded verandah with 3 large day beds. The house is looked after by our full time chef, house girl, caretaker and night guard. The house is a 5 minute walk to the creek where you can swim in the clear waters, a 15 minute walk to the stunnning Garoda beach, and a short walk to Licht House Bar.

Newly renovated Bali-style serviced villa just a 15-minute walk to Watamu’s white-sand beach. Bright open-concept kitchen and living area with large sliding doors for fresh coastal breezes. Air-conditioned bedrooms, ceiling fans, and access to a shared swimming pool with our sister villa. For larger groups, both villas can be booked together. A backup generator supports only lighting during power outages. Located in a peaceful, secure neighborhood near top restaurants and attractions.

Entire private house with exclusive use of the pool, garden, terrace, and all guest areas. No other guests stay on the property. Janet, our caretaker, lives in separate accommodation near the entrance and maintains the property and pool. Her area is separate from guest spaces, and most guests have little or no interaction with her. Maximum occupancy is 3 registered guests. Visitors, parties, and events are not permitted. The beach is a 12–17 minute walk or about 3 minutes by car.

Built entirely of local materials (coral, makuti thatch and wood), the focal point of the house is the large central living area complete with a bar made from magnificent cedar and local neem. This, the heart of the house, affords spectacular views of the Indian Ocean in all its moods on one side and lush tropical gardens on the other. Quaint, old, rustic villa located in a peaceful, secure gated community right on beautiful Bofa beach in Kilifi with unobstructed views of the Indian ocean. The villa is surrounded by beautiful baobab trees and shares a large saltwater pool and a large gazebo that's perfect for sunrise yoga sessions. There is a private, shaded verandah and a few meters from the house are steps leading down to the white, sandy Bofa beach.
