Most definitely a grown up's place to kick back and relax, listen to the birds tweeting (not on social media, although wifi is available). A four poster for the romantics, and sun loungers on your private, enclosed deck in case you fall out. All the usual amenities which are too boring to mention here are available, including a dishwasher and for those that can't be bothered to cook, a microwave. Dog friendly (max 2) if your hound(s) won't escape and eat our chickens. Free eggs when available!

The Hawthorn Shed is nestled within the lush and well-established gardens of our family home in Bude. It is only minutes away from the beautiful North Cornish coastline with it's sandy stretches of beaches, epic cliff walks and the Bude Sea Pool. Great for surfing, swimming, and various water sports. The Hawthorn Shed is within easy access to a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. The Appledown Iyengar Yoga Studio within our garden offers private & general classes.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
