Cozy cabin in the woods of SE Washington, in the Blue Mountains, near the Umatilla National Forest. The Grand Ronde River is a 20 minute drive from the cabin that offers great fishing, swimming, and rafting. Also cross country skiing, hiking trails at Field Springs State Park. Mushroom hunting and huckleberry picking are close by. Millies Grille (in Anatone) and Boggans Oasis (20 mi. South) are local eateries with good food. Hours vary. Relaxation and the great outdoors are calling.

It’s a one hour drive to Hells Canyon boat launch at Pittsburg Landing on the Snake River. Both areas are great for boating, rafting, and fishing. This studio guest house comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen sized bed, comfortable pull out couch, and separate full bathroom & shower. Serene, family-friendly accommodations. Private 2Bedroom, 1.25 Bath Suite offer guests a breathtaking landscape view of the Palouse. There is an additional 3rd BR available on main floor with a private bathroom, great for those having difficulty navigating stairs. Children love the secluded playroom and adults love the solitude. Our woods offer walking trails and glimpses of wildlife.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
