High Mountain Stone Cottage in the Cederberg

Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. Recently it was renovated with a larger kitchen and a braai room as shelter from summer southerly winds and to catch sun on winter afternoons. A private rock pool is 150m from the stoep

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Perched on the edge of the picturesque dam, Coot- and Bullrush Cottage sit alongside each other with spectacular views of the Langeberg Mountains. About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery and now 6 unique A-Frame cottages situated within a private nature reserve. Another 2 stone cottages complete the bouquet of accommodation.
