The balcony is ideal for relaxing on summer evenings overlooking the majestic Carauntoohil and the MacGillycuddy Reeks. Castleisland is located just 25 min from killarney, 20 min from tralee and 30 min to a number of blue flag beaches. This makes it an ideal base to explore the kingdom of Kerry and the wild Atlantic way.

On arrival the guests will be greeted with freshly baked scones and a welcome basket. Fresh flowers in all the rooms and fires and candles lighting in the winter months. Nestled in the countryside, the lodge is at the top of a cul de sac. A car is a must as the local amenities are a drive away. Kerry airport 9mins away. Glenageenty Walkway, Ballyseedy wood, Crag Cave close by. Tralee Dingle Killarney all within our grasp. Sleeps 6 the lodge is open plan. Upstairs has 2 double beds with shower/toilet. Downstairs kitchen/Dining and lounge. The sofa is a sofa-bed and sleeps 2 if needed. Privacy is compromised hence it is most suited to a family.
