High ceilings, scenic window, woodstove, indoor waterless toilet, outdoor coldwater sink and outdoor private hot shower (when above freezing); available sauna at main house. 35-45 min to main ski areas. Most pets ok! Owner's home conveniently close but out of view.

East Cabin

The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the Green Mountains of VT and the Adirondacks of NY. Soak up the morning sun on your private stone patio while mother nature comes to life on the pond and fields. Take a day trip to beautiful Lake George or Historic Saratoga Springs. Grill steaks on the BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. Farm fresh products for purchase at our farm store, including our own pasture raised beef. We also have the West Cabin available for your family and friends.

A 3-minute walk leads you through gardens and pasture, to Ravenwood, a small, intimate cabin with everything you need. Explore the lake by kayak or canoe — both included for guests. Keep an eye out for both bald eagles and loons. There's also a fire pit for evening s'mores — firewood included as well. Great for families — we've got a crib, a bunk room for the kids, and a bookshelf of board games for those rainy days.

Snowshoeing and hiking right behind house in the Green Mountain National Forest. Easy drive to river swimming holes and lakes. Excellent restaurants in Waitsfield and Middlebury - about half hour. Good restaurant, cafe, small grocery store, in Rochester, 4 miles. Great location, beautiful views, lovely little house, totally private, romantic.

Our funky, fun house is nestled in the woods, with a waterfall and brook rushing by outside the large wall of windows. Situated in the Green Mountains, this is the perfect place to relax and play. The large open-floor plan is perfect for families with school-age children. Families with infants and toddlers may not find our home as friendly, as the waterfall, loft and attached farm buildings may create some safety challenges.
