Come enjoy a relaxing get away in our historic cabin where the old meets the new! This 90 year old cabin was originally built as a summer cabin to house lake workers. It has been revamped with a modern twist inspired by wildflowers. The cabin is just south of Grand Lake. It is extremely easy to access year-round via car, has great views of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Sip coffee or wine as you prepare meals in the top of the line chef’s kitchen with 6 burner Wolf range. Relax on the covered decks or patio with built in firepit.

Enjoy a private getaway for 2 with wood-burning stove (MUST bring firewood), indoor dining/cooking area with 2-burner propane stove (propane provided), sleeping loft, outdoor sitting area with propane gas grill. NO electricity or running water. Outdoor shower stall with two 5-gallon solar heated shower bags. Bring towels. Outhouse nearby. Bring food & ice. Well water provided from spigot at main cabin. Cot available UPON REQUEST in advance - prior arrival. NO CAMPFIRES OR USE OF ANY FIREPITS.

Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. We renovated the cabin to bring all the comforts of home to our "home away from home" in the mountains. Our family has made many memories here, and we're hopeful you'll be able to do the same.

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

This is truly mountainside living with trail & ski access right out the door! We remodeled over 4 months & added a 14 ft live edge bar, 100 year old hardwood vanities and many other touches to make the mountainside a memorable Colorado experience. While staying you can enjoy all that Granby Ranch has to offer in every season or access Winter Park or Grand Lake in quick 20 minute drives. A grocery store and gas station are only 5 minutes away and Granby is right around the corner. Enjoy!

Just 20 min to Winter Park, 20 min to Grand Lake, and 5 min to downtown Granby! Our private 615 sq. ft. unit sleeps 4 with two queen beds in the open loft. Unwind on the private balcony or enjoy shared amenities: 2 indoor hot tubs, 2 outdoor hot tubs, sauna, and outdoor heated pool.

That Dam Cabin, too!

This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.

Whether it be play time or quiet time (or both!), we offer our guests (and pets) the comfort of a large studio and yard at the end of a dead end street. You have a beautiful mountain setting with easy access to all your favorite winter activities; Fraser Valley has them in spades! After enjoying a perfect Colorado winter day, come back to your spacious room for a drink by your cozy fireplace to think about what restaurant to enjoy to cap a wonderful day.

Cozy 1 bedroom Granby Ranch condo

Welcome to our Granby Ranch condo! Great access to skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and golf. Guests also have access to the outdoor pool and hot tub at the base of the ski mountain (small fee required)as well as a free tub in our complex. Unit has a master bedroom with a queen sized bed. FYI-I don’t accept any reservation requests without confirming the cleaning arrangements first. Our STR permit # is 006840.
